Is liposculpture same as liposuction? (0)

Liposculpture is a more advanced and improved version of liposuction. These two processes are generally the same, but liposculpture has a lot of advantages over liposuction-Like less pain, bleeding, tumor etc. A person recovers very fast after liposculpture and returns to his normal life within a few days.
Basic Liposuction
Today, No one is unaware of the term liposuction. Liposuction is a type of cosmetic surgery that was meant for those who are not satisfied with their body, and hence it is designed so as to improve the body’s shape. Basically, liposuction works by removing excess fat. This fat is hidden (or actually located) between the muscles and the skin on it. It can be performed on various body parts, wherever the fat is required to be eliminated. Be it on the abdomen, stomach, hip area, inner thighs, outer thighs, back, arm, waist area, belly fat etc.
Method of performing
In this process, the doctor uses a small stainless steel tube. This tube is called a cannula. This cannula, which is attached to a suction pump, is inserted in the fat under the skin. This pump suctions out fat through channels in the skin. And finally, you end up with a more beautiful and firm shape. It is generally performed in a surgical center or a hospital. These surgeons may have special training in performing such processes and also must be a licensed doctor. A good surgeon is one who is both trained and experienced.
Different ways of doing it
When it comes to performing liposuction, different surgeons chose different methods depending on need of patient, the targeted body part, amount of fat to be eliminated, etc. these different ways are:
i) by giving local or general anesthesia
ii) Tumescent liposuction- in it, large amount of diluted anesthesia is used, which is a composite mix of many drugs. This fluid is injected just inside the targeted fat. It makes that area swell, or become tumescent. This is where from this technique has got its name. For the same reason, this technique is also known as ‘ballooning’.
iii) Some surgeons also tend to use microcannulas, which are very much thin and lead to better, desirable results, that too without any side effect.
iv) It can also be done by making a combination of the tumescent technique and some other strong anesthesia.
v) Some surgeons also use power-assisted techniques, ultrasound, and also laser techniques to perform liposculpture and liposuction.
