Liposculpture is a more advanced and improved version of liposuction. These two processes are generally the same, but liposculpture has a lot of advantages over liposuction-Like less pain, bleeding, tumor etc. A person recovers very fast after liposculpture and returns to his normal life within a few days.

Basic Liposuction
Today, No one is unaware of the term liposuction. Liposuction is a type of cosmetic surgery that was meant for those who are not satisfied with their body, and hence it is designed so as to improve the body’s shape. Basically, liposuction works by removing excess fat. This fat is hidden (or actually located) between the muscles and the skin on it. It can be performed on various body parts, wherever the fat is required to be eliminated. Be it on the abdomen, stomach, hip area, inner thighs, outer thighs, back, arm, waist area, belly fat etc.

Method of performing
In this process, the doctor uses a small stainless steel tube. This tube is called a cannula. This cannula, which is attached to a suction pump, is inserted in the fat under the skin. This pump suctions out fat through channels in the skin. And finally, you end up with a more beautiful and firm shape. It is generally performed in a surgical center or a hospital. These surgeons may have special training in performing such processes and also must be a licensed doctor. A good surgeon is one who is both trained and experienced.

Different ways of doing it

When it comes to performing liposuction, different surgeons chose different methods depending on need of patient, the targeted body part, amount of fat to be eliminated, etc. these different ways are:

i) by giving local or general anesthesia

ii) Tumescent liposuction- in it, large amount of diluted anesthesia is used, which is a composite mix of many drugs. This fluid is injected just inside the targeted fat. It makes that area swell, or become tumescent. This is where from this technique has got its name. For the same reason, this technique is also known as ‘ballooning’.

iii) Some surgeons also tend to use microcannulas, which are very much thin and lead to better, desirable results, that too without any side effect.

iv) It can also be done by making a combination of the tumescent technique and some other strong anesthesia.

v) Some surgeons also use power-assisted techniques, ultrasound, and also laser techniques to perform liposculpture and liposuction.

Before considering liposculpture, first consider good physician and get yourself aware of all the facts related to it, like the procedure that will follow, recovery time, after effects, side effects, cost involved, etc. after surgery precautions should also be understood beforehand. It would not give you a perfect body in a few hours.

Ad and reality

Although every advertisement promises and tries to convince every consumer that liposculpture (or liposuction) is the ultimate and only solution to all their problems related to their bodies.

They convince you that even an inch of bulging fat is no less than a tool of embarrassment for you, and the best way to get rid of it is to get yourself liposuctioned. They promise, easy recovery time, no pain, and no side effects or after effects. It also promises you no swelling or pain afterwards. Even if you are sure to undergo this process, and you are sure of no complications by your doctor or physician, do not believe blindly on these ads. Some swelling and pain are very natural things after this procedure. Try and be realistic.

Disadvantages of liposculpture

Like every other scientific ordeal, liposuction (or liposculpture) also has some negative points which also must be kept in mind before finalizing to undergo this procedure. The risks attached to it should be well understood. Some serious health problems and long term complications can arrive due to liposuction if too much fat is removed at once. Also, going under anesthesia is a risk within itself, because overdose of anesthesia can cause serious adversities.

If a not so trained and inexperienced surgeon is doing it, there are chances of scarring or undesirable and unsatisfactory results, or skin irregularities. Good hygiene and infection are also to be of good concern for you.

A healthy lifestyle

Going through a surgery to get yourself a good body image is not a really good and healthy way to keep you fit. Also, it would not help you reduce your weight. For this, diet and exercise are the only ways to keep yourself fit and fine. Getting under the knives is no better option than following a healthy lifestyle. Although, if you feel that despite of doing a good heck of exercise and following a healthy diet, some stubborn fat is stuck to you, you can use these surgical methods. Body lift, tucking lean body parts, removing bulging fat, etc are some most common liposculpture surgeries.

Liposculpture is a further evolved and advanced technique of liposuction surgery. It is used by people to treat little problematic areas of body parts and show their endearments towards their looks. These little ‘flanks’ in body, like double chin, man boobs, extra fat, abdominal etching, etc are eliminated using this technique of liposculpture.

There is a small straw like device that is used to remove the fat from the targeted area on the body. This straw and the positive results of the ‘tumescent’ technique have made it a very liked and approachable procedure. After it, a person can get to work within a few days.

Liposuction cosmetic surgery

Liposuction surgery is not an unheard word in today’s world. When people (be it men or women) are getting so concerned about their looks, and they do not want to learn to live with the ‘so called’ abnormalities with their bodies, liposuction gives them the way out. It began in 1970’s and has evolved greatly over these years. It is generally used to remove fat, treat double chin and problems likewise.

What is ‘tumescent’?

It is nothing but vital swelling caused on the body part where the liposuction is to be carried on, due to the injection of the anesthetic solution into the targeted fat. This injection is made just before or sometimes even during the liposuction process. This injection is generally a solution mix of:

i) A saline solution that would help in assisting the suctioning of the targeted area’s fat cells.
ii) Lidocaine, which would numb the targeted area during suctioning for the time being.
iii) Epinephrine, which is important to minimize the blood loss during the surgery by constricting the blood vessels.

How is it better?

This technique is preferred by the customers, because this procedure is performed with comparatively much less pain, bleeding, blood loss, and trauma. This highly effective technology has significantly increased the potential of the possible benefits resulting from this procedure, and simultaneously minimized its possible complications and adversities. With growing competition in marketplace, particularly men’s care and concern towards their body image has increased to a good extent, all this lead to popularity of liposculpture.

However, it should be kept in mind that liposculpture is not a weight loss technique. For this, the only good and permanent solution is diet and exercising, and after it, liposculpture could be used to enhance that area and reward your body image.

With rising age, there is a swift rise in the health problems people face. And also increase in attitude of carelessness towards your body. As a result, most of the middle aged men and women find themselves in bad shape. Fatness plays a very key role in increasing health problems. Even many young people, who otherwise have good and toned well shaped body, but still, have some pockets of fat, that are hanging here and there. These fat balls look terribly bad on the good masculine bodies.

What exactly is liposculpture?

Liposculpture, as we know, is a permanent technique of removing fat. For excessively overweight people, who need and want to be what they should be like, liposculpture (or liposuction) is a good option. In one session of liposculpture, four to six liters of fat can be safely and easily removed. Fat is removed from between the muscles and the skin underneath where the fat is located. Anesthesia along with some other drugs is injected directly into the fat and this fat is then pumped out.

Liposculpture over liposuction

Liposculpture uses anesthetic drugs to numb the muscle tissues, it prevents the over scarring and bruising and gives the doctor more privilege to be precise and accurate. Since the precision in this case increases, this technique better targets the fat hanging around the face, back, arm, legs, belly, etc. some stubborn area fat which otherwise does not leaves its place can be easily removed by liposculpture.

Besides, liposculpture heels better and offer much faster recovery. Less pain, less bleeding, less trauma are the other positive features of liposculpture. Also, liposculpture is safer than liposuction. In it, very little anesthesia is needed and the pain the patient suffers is very less than that in case of liposuction. So is the case with the bruises caused by the surgery.

Warning

If you are planning to undergo liposculpture, here’s one very important caution for you which is many a times neglected by the doctors. You must be in a good body shape overall if you want it to be a successful operation and get the desired result. In other words, if you are overall fat, and each part of your body is equally fatty and overweight, then it’s not the best thing for you. This is designed for those who have some particular body part where there is excess of fat, and otherwise they are not so extraordinarily overweight.
